USAirport Parking is NOT going bankrupt!

USAirport Parking for DIA is your local American-owned, and locally operated airport parking lot. We are not filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection; we are not being sold; and we have no foreign ownership.

There is no connection between US and the company in the news this week. Wouldn't it be sad and misleading if a company with USA in the name was foreign owned?!

USAirport Parking IS the world's largest off-airport parking lot, and we do it all for you on the northwest corner of Pena Blvd and Tower Rd. We have one lot at one airport and work hard to provide the extreme service that our customers expect.

So, we are here to stay, not going anywhere and are not erasing debt in court-that is another "U.S. Company" owned overseas with lots around the country. Thanks to you, our loyal customers for making it possible!
We are GLAD to have you with US!

How'd we do for you?

Thanks to everyone who parked at USAirport Parking over the December Holiday Season! We had a very nice turnout and appreciate your staying with US!

You are our bread & butter and we are always glad to have you on the lot. Please take a moment to visit our website and give your feedback, good or not-so-good, so that we can continue to improve on our first-class service- even during the peak travel season! Without your comments and feedback we have a difficult time making corrections and introducing new services.

So again, I want to take the time to thank you and invite you back for your next business trip... or your Spring Break trip in March. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Not ALL US Airport Parking Lots are raising prices

Much has been printed and posted this month about U. S. airport parking lots raising prices. Well, not ALL of them are!

We are USAirport Parking in Denver, Colorado- offering First-Class Convenience to travelers departing from DIA- Denver International Airport. Maybe you've heard of US, or seen US in Wild Blue Yonder on your last Frontier flight, or even on a Frontier ticket jacket. DON'T BE CONFUSED- our prices have not increased in almost 2 years and are NOT going up right now, either!

While we offer several discounts and coupons for corporate travelers, frequent parkers, bargain-hunters, AAA members and more- our posted rates are stable at $9/day for uncovered, $14/day for covered and with a $4 added fee we'll Valet park in either lot. Compare that to Denver Airport rates and you will see we offer a less expensive alternative, yet we offer Extreme Customer Service that the airport just can't match.

Check out our website and see for yourself, then print a coupon, sign up for a Frequent Parker Card or the corporate discount program and make plans NOW to "Avoid the PAIN on Pena" and exit at TOWER RD, then north to US! See you soon...

How GREEN is your parking lot?

Much has been written and posted lately about a new "green" parking lot coming to the Denver airport area. But really now, how green is YOUR parking lot, anyway? Give US a try.

USAirport Parking has owned the Red White & Blue motif for over 11 years, and in the last few we have worked hard to be as "green" as we can. We recycle all but the stinkiest trash; we use sand and not chemicals on our ice & snow and reclaim it for future use; we clean our buses with water, not soap; our buses run on diesel to save on fuel and reduce airborne emissions and last longer before they need to be replaced; we planted trees all along our fence-line and inside the spaces as well; our lighting features low-power energy-efficient lamps; we've found a recycling program for fluorescent lights... the list goes on and on. Things we haven't done are merely expensive and serve only to increase your prices at the parking lot!

And here's a big one- when we park 14 cars and shuttle those folks to and from DIA, that reduces their trip by over 16 miles, saving them fuel, money and emissions from their own cars. And they can get off Pena sooner and accumulate less mag-chloride that the city sprays (even when the temp is 40+ like last week!).

A famous frog said "it's not easy being green" and you know what? He was right!

USAirport Parking Fifth Annual Food Drive now underway

USAirport Parking announces our Fifth Annual Food Drive to help support Food Bank of the Rockies.

Why donate food now?

Charities typically receive a flood of donations during the holiday season, but interest in charitable giving of all types typically wanes after the holidays. However, hunger is a year-round problem, and it's more helpful to the Food Bank to receive a steady flow of donations (Imagine the problems it would create in your home if you went grocery shopping once a year!). If you donate food now, you'll be helping Food Bank of the Rockies employees and over 1,000 volunteers to assist needy families in an effective manner.

Here's how it works:

Bring your donation (One can or ten boxes - whatever you have) of nonperishable food items to the USAirport Parking office when you enter the facility (need directions to USAirport? Click Here!). The office building is straight ahead from the entrance; it's the building attached to the exit lanes. Our office employees (the office is open 24/7/365) will provide you with a special one-day free uncovered parking coupon. After making your donation and receiving the coupon, proceed to the designated loading area (ask our office staff if you have questions), and the bus will take you to the airport. Upon your return from travel, present the coupon you receive to the cashier as you exit the facility to receive your one free day of uncovered parking.

Terms and conditions*:

We will offer one Food Drive Free Day Coupon (uncovered parking only) to customers who make a charitable donation of any quantity of nonperishable food items, now through February 28.. No more than one Food Drive Free Day will be given to any customer per visit and per donation. The Food Drive Free Days will not be combinable with each other or any other discount or coupon, and are only valid for uncovered parking. The expiration date on the Free Days is June 30, 2010. Customers do not need to use the Free Day coupon on their current trip, and do not need to park with us when they bring the food to receive the coupon that they can use on a future trip (if you don't need airport parking before February 28, but have Food you'd like to donate, you can stop by USAirport Parking and donate food, and receive a coupon for a future trip).

Thank you!

YOU, our customers, donated almost a TON of food during our 2009 Food drive. How much more can we do in 2010?

Thanks also to Food Bank of the Rockies for doing a great job of helping Colorado and Wyoming's needy families since 1978. Food Bank of the Rockies is a first-rate organization that does a great job of finding food and distributing it to needy families. I was really impressed with my tour of their warehouse - a level of organization and cleanliness that's awesome - you could eat off the warehouse floor! And, I really like what they are doing - taking food that would often be discarded (from households, restaurants, supermarkets, and commercial food wholesalers), and putting it to good use. Since they generally act as the "wholesaler" or warehouse for smaller charitable organizations that distribute food to individuals and families, they often don't get the visibility or credit they deserve. But, without their important work, the job wouldn't get done!

*All terms and conditions subject to change; one Free Day coupon issued per food donation (any amount of items donated receive one coupon), original Free Day coupon required to receive the discount- no copies accepted, further restrictions may apply, .

Winter Weather: BRRRFECT for Valet

Winter Weather is upon US in Colorado- and that is the BRRRFECT time for Valet Parking at the airport.

Think about it- you arrive from your trip in Florida to weather that is peaking today in the teens (and was as low as -17 overnight!) and when you get back to your car it is frozen-over from snow and ice. Oh no- you forgot to put your scraper/brush back in the car when you cleaned out the car last month. What are you going to do?

Option One: Pry open your frozen door and start the car... then sit there for about 20 to 30 minutes until you have a peep-hole that is safe-enough to see out of. Man, I HATE Colorado Winters...

Option Two: Boy, am I glad I parked in VALET. My bus driver radioed my Valet number to the lot and when I got to my car it was brushed, scraped clean and started and it is nice and warm inside. I LOVE Colorado Winter!

Better still, Option Two costs only a few dollars more than uncovered parking, and at USAirport Parking for DIA, that is still LE$$ than the rate in the airport garage! PLUS you get First Class Service at a rate that your company doesn't mind reimbursing for business travel (and if you sign up your company for the Corporate Discount Program you $ave 25%).

Go for it- give VALET a try and I am SURE you'll be hooked all winter. Then, we can talk about hail storms when Spring arrives in Colorado!
